My teenage son practically lives in his ASICS Gel-1130 (Steel Grey/Black). Whether he’s walking between classes, heading to the gym, or playing casual pickup basketball, they’ve become his go-to.

He finds them extremely comfortable for all-day wear, with GEL cushioning that absorbs impact and keeps his feet from getting tired. They’re also surprisingly lightweight.

They’re not designed for serious basketball, but they hold up well for casual games and PE, with good stability. He mentioned the grip can be a bit slippery on dusty indoor courts, though they perform better outdoors on cleaner surfaces.

He also loves the look, stylish with a retro feel, and the darker colour is easy to keep clean. They fit true to size, though slightly snug for wider feet.

Overall, a great choice for everyday wear, school, and light sport - easily his favourite school shoes to date.
